IDI Emerging Markets is an investment company solely dedicated to private equity in emerging economies, this activity being the heart of its expertise. It invests primarily in investment funds that then invest capital in local companies. The Company is managed by two senior professionals with more than 20 years of experience in this market. Its organisation is designed to be efficient and flexible for decision-making and reporting.

A Unique Experience

Thanks to a policy of exploratory investments led by IDI Group since 2003, a portfolio of 35 funds has been established over a five years period, offering IDI Emerging Markets an extremely strong base of experience and contacts. The existing portfolio provides access to funds that include among the best in India, China and Central and Eastern Europe, many of which are now closed to new investors.

A Platform giving access to Private Equity in Emerging Economies

A company investing in funds is a real platform for observation and data acquisition and judgments on the entire investment market in targeted countries and the development of their economies. As a consequence, IDI Emerging Markets aims to provide its shareholders with a platform for investment in emerging markets through investments made on its own balance sheet and opportunities for co-investment it can offer, either in investment funds, or in any proposed direct investment by these funds. In these cases, the Company offers selection and analysis services of the opportunities before offering it to its shareholders. For each investment, it creates a club of investors and acts as its sole representative with the funds.
